In 2008, we had the honor of winning the 2008 Business of the Year award in the category of Innovation (for
CentricManager). Below is the story written by the
Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce:
Business of the Year Spotlight: Centric Studios
Written by Carolina Dominguez, Communications Intern through the BRIDGE Program.

Centric Studios began with one employee and no capital; now it is a completely different story, winning the Business of the Year award for Innovation in September. Centric Studios now employs five talented programmers who create effective Web applications for clients in a variety of industries. Their main services include programming and Web site design. They have worked with many industries and companies in Gainesville, including Gainesville Health and Fitness Center, Gator Dominos and B.K. Cypress. Centric Studios helps companies make their way into the highly-technological world of today. Businesses can move forward into the future by creating a website and Centric Studios helps make that possible.
Centric Studios believes that, like technology, children are the future. Thus, they have sponsored many organizations and charities like Gators for Kids and Gala for Kids. In addition, Centric Studios has been highly involved in the Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County for more than four years, even creating Web sites for the organization’s events free of charge. In addition, they have embraced the green movement by taking steps toward having “green servers” that would reduce their carbon footprint. Although many Web development companies are moving towards the future, one of the leaders is definitely Centric Studios.
